The BiH House of Peoples has unanimously passed a new census law, over a year and a half since the law was passed by the House of Representatives. The law will now go to a joint committee for final changes.
Under the law, a state-wide census will be conducted in April of 2013; this census would be the first since 1991, and is expected to show a significant decrease in overall population.
