Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidency Chair Zeljka Cvijanovic met on Tuesday in Brussels with Antonio Costa, the newly appointed President of the European Council.

Highlighting concerns about foreign involvement, Cvijanovic stated that it is unacceptable for any individual acting outside the framework of the Dayton Agreement, the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and European legal standards to override democratically elected institutions. She voiced dissatisfaction with certain foreign interventions that she believes undermine agreements reached by domestic political actors.
