CNA reports:
Republika Srpska (RS) has “never contested” the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with the Dayton Agreement, while secession “has never been our policy”, Milorad Dodik, president of the Serbian entity, said on Wednesday.
A day after a visit to BiH by US CIA Director William Burns, Dodik wrote on the social media site X that “the fight against terrorism is the duty of the entire free world, and in this context the visit of the director of the CIA, Mr. William Burns, to Bosnia and Herzegovina is significant. The Republika Srpska is committed to this fight and welcomes any cooperation in this field.”
Dodik further said, “BiH is a union of two equal entities and three constituent peoples, so Mr. Burns’s position that the responsibility for the functioning of the country falls on all ethnic communities is encouraging.”
