Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said Thursday, “I want to address the general public and invite everyone to commemorate this day in peace and dignity. As I expressed my regret for the Serbs who died, I express my condolences to the families of the Bosniaks who died. Regardless of our differences, we must show respect for the pain and suffering that has befallen many people of all nations and religions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
N1 reports:
[Dodik] called on all citizens to spend the day in an atmosphere of peace, to avoid any provocations and to behave responsibly and respectfully.
“Let our attitude towards this day show that we are committed to peace, stability and a better future for all people in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Dodik announced.
