With a meeting today between BiH Security Minister Nenad Nesic and the Deputy Director General for Internal Affairs at the European Commission, Oliver Onidi, BiH officially begins negotiations on the text of its Agreement on Cooperation with the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX).
The BiH Security Ministry said, “After the establishment of operational cooperation with EUROPOL, this agreement is the next important step for BiH in the integration into the common European security area. In this way, the Ministry of Security fulfills one of the important assumptions for the opening of negotiations between BiH and the European Union.”
