Croatian President Zoran Milanović on Wednesday wondered why Christian Schmidt does not “use his Bonn powers, which are undemocratic and despotic, but are nevertheless used” to change BiH’s election law.
“Why doesn’t he take a decision that will ensure automatic implementation of the Constitutional Court ruling so that we don’t depend on the Assembly that refuses to comply with the Constitutional Court order?” Milanović asked.
Milanović pointed out that Schmidt was in this position illegally because he was not confirmed by the UN Security Council.
