We gave it our best. It is up to BiH leaders to build on and continue finding the courage to achieve a compromise that was missing all this time, the US Embassy to Bosnia told N1 on Monday when asked to comment on the failed election reform talks that took part over the weekend, adding that these compromises must be passed by the country’s Parliament.
N1 quotes the embassy as saying, “Unfortunately, the Democratic Action Party (SDA) and Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) have not reached the compromise necessary to finalize this agreement.”
