Republika Srpska (RS) President Željka Cvijanović extended congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha “to Reis-l-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović, Mufti of Banja Luka Nusret ef. Abdibegović and all believers of the Islamic religion in the Republic of Srpska and BiH.” Ms. Cvijanović’s congratulatory note says:
On the occasion of the upcoming holiday of Eid al-Adha, I extend my sincere congratulations to you and all believers of the Islamic faith in the Republic of Srpska and BiH, with the desire to welcome and spend this holiday in good health, mood, peace and family happiness. May the days of Eid al-Adha encourage the spirit of unity, solidarity and strengthen the true values of mutual respect and understanding.
RS Prime Minister Radovan Višković also extended his greetings, writing:
I am extending my sincere greetings on behalf of the Government of the Republika Srpska and on my behalf on the occasion of Kurban Bayram, with the wishes that this holiday is celebrated in peace and good spirit.
