Republika Srpska President on Tuesday extended congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. The text of her office’s press release is below.
On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović extended congratulations to Reis-l-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović, Mufti of Banja Luka Nusret ef. Abdibegović and all believers of the Islamic religion in the Republic of Srpska and BiH.
“On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska and on my own behalf, and on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, I extend my sincere congratulations and wish you to celebrate the holiday in joy, peace and prosperity together with your families, friends and neighbours.
“May the upcoming holidays, after a month of prayer and fasting, be of spiritual benefit, inspiration for a better life and encouragement for mutual respect, rapprochement and tolerance”, reads the congratulation note by the President of the Republic of Srpska.
