The BiH Civil Affairs Ministry, the country’s countact point with COVAX, said Wednesday that BiH timely met all conditions set by the COVAX mechanism and paid the required amount for 1,232,000 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine. The ministry called on relevant international institutions to begin the vaccine delivery instead of delaying it with new requirements.
The ministry said this was their answer to recent allegations that Bosnia failed to meet the requirements and therefore would not get the purchased vaccines by April.
