Croatia’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs has rejected as unfounded a diplomatic note sent on January 27 by the BiH Foreign Minister Bisera Turkovic responding to Croatia’s announcement of the declaration of an exclusive economic zone in the Adriatic Sea.
Turkovic stated in the note that Croatia’s announcement endangered BiH’s right to access the high seas.
In its response to Sarajevo, Croatia’s ministry said that it saw no reason for such a reaction because there were no violations of international law in this case, which senior Bosnian officials such as current Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik agreed with.
