Carl Bildt, who served as the first international High Representative (HR) in BiH, told BHRT that the HR’s role should be reduced and be transferred to the EU Special Representative.
In a live interview to BHRT he said that, at some point in time, BiH should move on and demonstrate that it was stable and independent.
“The times when the Bonn powers were used are gone. This is no longer a protectorate of the international community and one should move on,” said Bildt, speaking about the current HR Valentin Inzko.
