Srebrenica Mayor Mladen Grujicic called the Central Election Commission’s annulment of the results of the 2020 election in Srebrenica politically motivated and said the decision will be appealed.
“It is clear to us that it was agreed in advance in Sarajevo that this scenario would happen if the Serb candidate for mayor wins. It is a ridiculous and unacceptable explanation that the complete election and my victory with 1,200 votes more than the Bosniak candidate will be annulled due to 50 suspicious voters with allegedly expired documents,” Grujicic said.
