BiH Security Minister Selmo Cikotic said Sunday that the situation in Una-Sana Canton has become complicated because cantonal authorities have backed out of an agreement to move migrants from Lipa to Bira camp.
The Minister noted that the Mayor of Una-Sana Canton’s administrative centre, Bihac, and other Cantonal ministers have backed out of a plan they themselves proposed several months back.
“They’re now against Bira as a solution, regardless of the fact that there is room for over 3,000 migrants there. Now they’re looking for other solutions within ‘Borici’ and ‘Sedra’ camps,” Cikotic said, adding that such solutions can not be made in a day.
