BiH Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija said that at his meeting Friday with EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi, he received a commitment for BiH to be given EU candidate status by the summer of 2021.
At the press conference after the meeting, which was also attended by the prime ministers of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, and the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić, Tegeltija said that Varhelji presented the economic investment plan for the Balkans.
“What is important to us is that the thoughts on the European investment plan for the Western Balkans coincide with the attitudes and thoughts of the authorities in BiH, which are long-term economic recovery and development, regional economic integration, support for green and digital transition, and promotion of projects of regional significance”, pointed out Tegeltija.
