The EU Special Representative in Bosnia, Johann Sattler, said Wednesday that the EU is offering 250 million Euros in aid to BiH if the country proves that it made progress on the rule of law and judicial reform.
Sattler said on Tuesday that there are three key laws that must be adopted – the law on conflict of interest, the law on public procurement, and amendments to the law on the Bosnia’s top judicial institution, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC).
“These three laws are part of 14 key priorities. After the meeting with [Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran] Tegeltija, I am encouraged that this will happen by the end of the year,” he said.
