Officials from Republika Srpska marked the 76th anniversary of the “Halyard” operation in which 60 allied pilots were rescued during World War II.
The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik said that an expanded memorial center would be built in Boljanić and that the commemoration, as today, would be included in the calendar of commemoration of important events in the Republika Srpska.

The President of the Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović pointed out that the village of Boljanić on Ozren is the place where the most beautiful pages of Serb-American relations were written 76 years ago.
