BiH Security Minister Selmo Cikotic said Tuesday that there has been a decline in the number of migrants who entered the country in the first eight months of 2020 and said the most likely reason for this is the coronavirus pandemic.
According to him, the majority of migrants this year came from Afghanistan, approximately 27 percent, then from Pakistan with about 23 percent participation in the total number of migrants moving through the country, followed by Bangladesh with 19 percent, Morocco with 10, Iraq with 4.5 percent, while the list also includes Iran, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt and some other countries from the Middle East and Central Asia.
