Dodik says Presidency made progress on migrant crisis – FENA

The Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, said that the BiH Presidency at Thursday’s session took several good steps to help resolve the migrant crisis, including strengthening institutions and protecting the border, as well as signing readmission agreements with migrants’ countries of origin.

He welcomed better cooperation between the BiH Border Police and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, and it is noticed that a smaller number of migrants entered BiH. The BiH Council of Ministers was asked to increase the capacity of the Border Police and allocate five million KM from the budget reserve for migrant crisis management.
