Croat leader slams decision separating vote in Mostar from rest of the country – N1

The leader of BiH’s main Croat party, the HDZ, told foreign ambassadors in BiH that his party will not support the idea of a separately held local election in the city of Mostar, warning that the idea could destabilize the situation.

Covic’s note to ambassadors comes a day after the Central Election Commission (CIK) decided that the local election in Mostar would take place on December 20 this year unlike the rest of the country, which will see the vote on November 15.
