Republika Srpska has awarded a 50-year concession contract to the UK-based EFT Group for the construction of a 104 million KM ($61 million) photovoltaic (PV) plant in the municipality of Bileca.
The contract was signed on July 14 by the Serb Republic energy minister Petar Djokic and the head of EFT’s local unit – Energy Financing Team SE Bileca, Ranko Cokorilo, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The solar plant will have an installed capacity of 60 MW and will produce 84 GWh of electricity per year. The concessionaire will be able to sell the output on the domestic market and export it, the statement reads.
