The director of the Energy Community Secretariat, Janez Kopač, said Thursday in Trebinje that Republika Srpska is on the right path when it comes to the energy transition, which was not the case in the rest of BiH.
“I am glad that Republika Srpska really made a turnabout in its energy policy in the past year or two and is building a future only on renewable energy sources where it has competitive advantages, which is the future of the whole of the EU,” Kopač told reporters.
He assessed the energy situation in Republika Srpska as extremely positive and stressed that no progress whatsoever had been made in the Federation of BiH.
