Višković Meets with Chief of IMF Mission – RS Government

Radovan Višković met Friday with Martin Petri, the Chief of the International Monetary Fund Mission for BiH.

The interlocutors discussed the current economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and reviewed implementation of measures and activities foreseen in the 2020-2022 Economic Reform Program of the Republic of Srpska and the Package of Joint Socio-Economic Reforms for the 2019-2022 period.

Prime Minister Višković underlined that the priorities in the work of the Government of the Republic of Srpska in that period would focus on the improvement of the health sector and the efficiency of public enterprises.

The Government of Republic of Srpska is committed to consistently pursue reform processes aimed at improvement of the economy and economic environment, preservation of the fiscal stability and enhancement of the standard of living of the citizens of Republic of Srpska.

Prime Minister Višković and IMF Mission Chief welcomed the formation of the Council of Ministers which would facilitate implementation of the reform processes and important infrastructure projects.

The interlocutors agreed that up-to-date cooperation has been successful and that joint activities would continue in the coming period.
