Republika Srpska President Željka Cvijanović said today in Washington that the RS is interested in improving the economic cooperation with the U.S. in all fields of mutual interest.
At a meeting with Assistant Administrator for USAID’s Bureau for Europe and Eurasia Brock Bierman, Cvijanović thanked for development aid from the US Agency to Republika Srpska, and mutual readiness was expressed to continue the partnership, particularly in programs directed at supporting young people, economic development, drawing foreign investments and creating new jobs.
Bierman wrote after the meeting on Twitter, “Enjoyed my meeting with the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović. We discussed @USAID‘s partnership with #BiH to create new opportunities for young people to get involved in government, civil society, and the private sector.”
