The director of the RS Center for Research of War, War Crimes and the Search for Missing Persons, Milorad Kojić, said it is necessary for the Council of Ministers to adopt the revised War Crimes Processing Strategy as soon as possible. The strategy would introduce accountability for judicial office holders for failure to implement strategic goals and measures.
Kojic has recalled that former Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić and former Minister of Human Rights and Refugees Semiha Borovac removed from the agenda of the Council of Ministers the revised Strategy on several occasions, as they did not want it to be adopted and the BiH judicial institutions to start implementing it.
The revised War Crimes Processing Strategy was supported by the Republika Srpska and the FBiH Governments, the OSCE and international institutions, and the BiH High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council, which took part in drafting it.
