BiH Presidency Member Milorad Dodik said Wednesday that he believes Croatia will be considerate about BiH’s position with respect to construction of a radioactive waste disposal site near Croatia’ border with BiH at Trgovska Gora.
He recalled that a few months ago the BiH Presidency asked Croatia to drop the idea of building a landfill near the border with BiH, sent a letter to Croatian officials and requested meetings.
“The BiH Presidency has issued a decision about it. I thank my colleagues in the Presidency for having understanding for the matter, because it does not affect only the Serbs and Bosniaks, it affects all people in these parts,” said Dodik.
Dodik also said: “Back at the beginning of our term, we invited Kolinda Grabar Kitarović to visit BiH, she has neither responded nor invited us to Croatia. I am aware that they have a negative stance towards the appointment of Željko Komšić into the Presidency, considering him a deceit to Croats and that’s why they won’t give him legitimacy when talking to him. We are all victims because of the way Komšić was elected.”
