BiH’s main Croat party, the HDZ, condemned statements by the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, Šefik Džaferović, that the HVO was in the service of a joint criminal enterprise. The HDZ said, “As a signatory of the documents for obtaining citizenship of BiH, Džaferović helped . . . the world-famous terrorists, radicals, and mujaheddin who participated in one of the world’s largest terrorist attacks that killed innocent people. As such, he cannot represent the BiH state leadership which goal should be a better future, peace, coexistence.”
