Asked to comment on BiH’s first Pride march, held Sunday in Sarajevo, SDA leader Bakir Izetbegovic said said violence is unacceptable but that no one has the right to present something that is not normal as normal. Izetbegovic said, “I’m a believer. I believe God is all-knowing and absolute. I believe that one cannot say ‘God knows everything, but he made a mistake here and we’ll fix that.’ For me, as a believer, God is right and the Holy Book is above the law.”
