RS President Željka Cvijanović met Friday in her office with the Apostolic Nuncio in BiH, Luigi Pezzuto. They discussed cooperation between the RS institutions and the Catholic Church was discussed as well as the recent visit to the Vatican by a high-level delegation from the Republic of Srpska and BiH.
President Cvijanović stressed that the Republic of Srpska is a mature democratic society, where each citizen is being respected and where religious freedom is guaranteed to members of all religious communities.
The President of the Republic emphasized that all institutions of the Republic of Srpska will continue to support any activity aimed at improving relations and creating a positive environment for the coexistence of various religious communities in the Republic of Srpska and BiH.
