RS President Željka Cvijanović and Laura Cooper, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia, Ukraine, Eurasia and Western Balkans, said at a meeting Tuesday in Washington that it is necessary to develop good relations between RS institutions and the United States.
Cvijanović and Cooper noted that joint activities had to be undertaken in order to strengthen counter terrorism capacities, illegal migration prevention and departure of BiH citizens to foreign battlefields, as well as to achieve a higher level of security in Srpska and BiH, announced the Office of the Republika Srpska president.
The president of Republika Srpska emphasized that she appreciated the current cooperation with the United States in the security sector, and voiced belief it would continue in the upcoming period.
