BIRN reports that RS President Milorad Dodik and the Croat member of the BiH Presidency, Dragan Covic, have announced that their SNSD and HDZ parties will join in a coalition to form governments at all levels.
According to N1, Dodik said the coalition agreement does not mean agreement against a third party. He said he and Covic would invite “the third one to join them in solving the accumulated problems together.” Dodik also said, “We believe that sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina might be strengthened if the local institutions and political representatives took responsibility.”
SRNA quotes Dodik as saying, “It is our agreement to establish common policies which do not pose a problem at the State level, primarily to ensure the policies that will make sure BiH gets EU candidate status as soon as possible and strengthen the country’s sovereignty, abolish the High Representative and foreign judges in the Constitutional Court.”
