Thousands of Croats gathered in Mostar Thursday night to protest the election of Zeljko Komsic as the Croat member of the BiH Presidency, saying that Komsic does not represent their community.
[M]any Croats say the existing political system allows Muslim Bosniaks to effectively vote their own candidate onto the Croatian seat on the state presidency.
The massed Croats lit candles in front of the Croat state presidency member’s Mostar office and held banners with the message: ‘Not my president’ and ‘R.I P democracy’.
