The majority of the Muslim Bosnians are trying out the identity of the Ottoman empire,” he explains. “On the night of the election of Erdogan as the president of Turkey, Izetbegovic, as president of Bosnia-Herzegovina, congratulated Erdogan on his victory, saying: “Mr President, you are not only the president of Turkey, you are the president of all of us.”
