RS President Milorad Dodik on Tuesday called a statement by General Giselle Wilz, commander of NATO headquarters in BiH, a breach of principles of international law against interference in the domestic affairs of sovereign states. He also said General Wilz’s statement constitutes pressure on local judicial institutions.
Dodik points out that, putting aside the fact that Wilz’s statement is completely untrue because the participation of the 3rd Infantry /Republika Srpska/ Regiment of the Armed Forces of BiH in the celebration of Srpska Day was not illegal, it is astonishing that NATO even decided to interfere in an issue which is the sole competence of the institutions of Republika Srpska and BiH and fully in the domain of the local legislation.
