The BiH Prosecutor’s Office charged former Croat soldier Azra Basic on Friday with the wartime murder of a Serb civilian and the torture and abuse of other prisoners, crimes which were allegedly committed in 1992. Basic had been living in the United States; she was extradited last month after investigators found she had lied about her war record in the process of obtaining US citizenship.
