Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik visited St. Petersburg, Russia this week, to discuss cooperation between the city and RS.
Vyacheslav Makarov, the Head of Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, pointed out in a Tuesday meeting with Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik in St. Petersburg that the Russian city and Republika Srpska are connected by strong cultural, historical, political, and economic ties.
“Russia greatly appreciates the friendship and openness of our countries because our nations are genetically closely related– we are the Slavic nations,” Makarov said during the meeting.
