Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic told a press conference in Belgrade that his government would not ask Republika Srpska to cancel a planned referendum on the RS national holiday. Bosniak politicians and foreign governments have put pressure on the RS; Dacic responded to the question of whether Serbia would try to convince RS President Milorad Dodik to cancel the vote.
“Serbia will not interfere and turn out with its participation to meddle in the internal affairs in RS, BiH, but certainly stability in general, in RS and in BiH, is our interest,” Dacic said at a press conference in Belgrade.
