Serb member of the BiH presidency Mladen Ivanic said yesterday that an “institutional crisis” could result from the BiH statistical agency’s unilateral decision to publish census results without the consent of the entities. Mr. Ivanic has previously said that the RS should publish its own version of the census results, and should withdraw its citizens from the BiH statistical agency.
“If nothing changes with regard to that decision, the census will not have any consequences, because Republika Srpska institutions will not recognize the results,” said Ivanic in Gornji Podgradci, near Gradiska, reiterating that Republika Srpska should report its census results.
