Serb member of the BiH presidency Mladen Ivanic criticized his colleague Bakir Izetbegovic for comments made during a press conference in Sarajevo. Mr. Izetbegovic, not in response to a question, said during the press conference that the RS government had “systematically removed Bosniaks and Croats” from Banja Luka during the BiH civil war.
“Izetbegovic acted absolutely contrary to the normal and usual functioning of the BiH institutions. He can present his positions, but not at an official meeting where positions are presented on behalf of BiH. It is absolutely unnecessary, inappropriate and rude to answer the questions that are not posed to him. Had he listened more carefully, he could have seen that similar thing could have been said in a more wise way,” Ivanic told reporters in Sarajevo.
