Serb community leaders in the area of Vozuca says that man local Serbs have been subject to attacks, robbery, or other damaging actions by local Bosniaks. Among the offenses reported are several home invasions or robberies, illegal logging on Serb-owned land, and diversion of irrigation water. Local Serbs believe that these actions are part of a concerted effort to intimidate returnees and potential returnees to the area.
As an example of a pressure on returnees, the Association mentions an uncontrolled release of wild boars into Predrazi, the village near Vozuca, organised by the Hunting Club Klek Zavidovici, and building the feeding places for wildlife near the Serb-owned houses, ignoring the complaints by Serb returnees that the safety and property are threatened this way….
In the village of Panici, Dimitrije and Slavisa Panic, a father and a son, were battered in their family house and the perpetrators stole their calf. Mirko and Nada Pejic’s barn was set on fire, while Stojko Pejic’s house was set on fire, too.
