Sonja Karadzic-Jovicevic, daughter and supporter of Republika Srpska’s wartime president Radovan Karadzic, was elected on Monday to serve as deputy speaker of the RS National Assembly. MPs from the RS opposition bloc, lead by the SDS, had previously boycotted RSNA sessions to force other parties to accept Karadzic-Jovicevic.
