Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik joined Guido Dusi, head of the Italian company Metalleghe, on Monday for the opening of a new silicon metal factory in the RS municipality of Mrkonjic Grad. President Dodik held up the new factory as an example of the entity’s ability to attract and protect foreign investment.
Mr. Dodik emphasized that this is an investment worth EUR 41 million and that the factory currently employs 112 workers….
″The Republic of Srpska has supported and recognized a need for something like this in this municipality. Within our projects and programs related to the industrialization support i.e. re-industrialization, each project of this kind is a part of the overall process and political objective to establish an increased industrial production in the Republic of Srpska″, stated Mr. Dodik, adding that this is the best way for a stable growth of gross domestic product, which in this year recorded a growth rate of almost 2%, which is an encouraging fact.
