Dragan Covic, current chair of the BiH Presidency, met on Monday with EU foreign affairs chief Federica Mogherini to discuss the progress of BiH toward EU membership. BiH and the entities are currently pursuing a program of institutional and economic reforms to prepare for eventual integration into the EU. During today’s meeting, Mr. Covic updated Ms. Mogherini on the progress BiH has made, and Ms. Mogherini praised officials at all levels in BiH for their commitment to reform.
BiH Presidency Chairman expressed satisfaction with the recently published Progress Report for 2015.
He emphasized that positive report was an additional incentive for Bosnian authorities to continue working on remaining conditions, BiH Presidency has stated.
Covic added that priorities are implementation of Reform Agenda, adoption of coordination mechanism, and adaptation of Stabilization and Association Agreement in terms of Croatia’s accession to EU.
