Serbian prime minister Aleksandar Vucic, along with Republika Srpska and BiH officials, attended a two-day investment forum in Srebrenica this week. In his remarks to attendees and local leaders, PM Vucic pledged that Serbia plans to devote €5 million to Srebrenica’s development.
According to Vucic, 2 million euro will be paid directly to the municipality of Srebrenica by Monday. The rest will be used to implement economic and development projects, which will be carried out by companies from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Camil Durakovic, the mayor of Srebrenica, said he was “really satisfied” with the promises made by the Serbian government.
RS President Milorad Dodik also announced that the RS government has earmarked KM 3 million for the development of Srebrenica’s infrastructure.
