After the Constitutional Court of Republika Srpska rejected their claim that the language of the planned referendum on the High Representative and BiH judiciary violates the “vital national interests” of Bosniaks, the caucus of Bosniak MPs in the RS Council of Peoples has filed another complaint. This new filing focuses on the commission appointed by the RS National Assembly to organize and carry out the referendum. According to the Bosniak caucus, the all-Serb commission itself poses a threat to vital national interests.
The RS Constitutional Court will have to rule on this charge, a process which will likely delay the referendum, which was previously scheduled for October 15.
