The BiH Court heard preliminary arguments from the prosecution and defense in Naser Oric’s war crimes trial this week, and decided to extend the duration of travel restrictions on the accused, while loosening the limits of his movement. Based on the defense’s assertion that all of the witnesses to be called against Oric live in Republika Srpska, the court will allow Oric free movement throughout the Federation entity.
The Bosnian court on September 10 confirmed an indictment charging Oric with killing three Bosnian Serb prisoners of war in the villages of Zalazje, Lolici and Kunjerac in 1992. Another Bosnian army fighter Sabahudin Muhic is charged with the same crimes.
