The government of Republika Srpska, one day after approving its four-year reform strategy, formally reiterated its call for a coordination mechanism to facilitate communication and joint efforts at all levels of government. The RS has repeatedly stressed the importance of such a body, but Federation and BiH officials have delayed its creation.
Taking into account the importance of the European Union’s financial support to BiH through funds from the IPA II instrument, and in order to overcome the identified problems in the programming process for 2015 and the urgent need for the process of European integrations in BiH to develop in accordance with its constitutional structure and distribution of responsibilities among all levels of government, the RS government reiterates its call for urgent agreement on the coordination mechanism for European integration processes in BiH in accordance with solutions and principles agreed in 2013, which were confirmed by the RS government on 23 May 2013 and the conclusions of the RS National Assembly on 4 October 2013 and 11 February 2015.
