In a statement to the press on Thursday, Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said that the planned RS referendum on the BiH judiciary would not in any way hinder BiH’s progress toward EU membership.
“Exactly the opposite will happen. This now opens the door wide for a comprehensive dialogue and a removal of numerous omissions in terms of the BiH Court and Prosecutor’s Office. The Structured Dialogue on Justice unfortunately opened that door only slightly and only very small progress was made even though the process lasted for four years.”
RS leaders maintain that the BiH Court and Prosecutor’s office were established by unconstitutional acts by the High Representative.
