Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik told reporters today that none of the three versions of the UK’s resolution on Srebrenica was acceptable, and that the resolutions’ texts threatened “stability and reconciliation” in BiH.
He underlined that the RS does not deny the need for marking the mass suffering of Bosniaks in Srebrenica, and that the authorities of this Serb entity will take all necessary measures for the July 11 commemoration to pass off safely.
Unfortunately, the commemorative event is being unnecessarily politicized, Dodik said, noting that Srebrenica is an integral part of RS which will treat it as such and assist financially, as all other local communities.
