Although elections took place last fall, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton has yet to form a government. HDZ and SDA leaders have so far been unable to bring other parties into their coalition. This week, the local leadership of the SBB gave a statement expressing its unwillingness to cooperate with the SDA in the canton.
The SBB cantonal board in HNK on Tuesday issued a statement in which it clearly stated that “coalition with the radical wing of the SDA is not an option.” By that, Radoncic’s party says, they would support the further isolation of BiH on its path to creating a pro-European country that would not be a Turkish appendage, nor fertile soil for spreading radical Middle Eastern ideas.
SDA and HDZ representatives are reportedly reaching out to other parties, and to the Democratic Front in particular.
